THE TRUE VINE AND THE BRANCH
I am the true vine, and my father is the vine grower. He moves every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit.

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
