As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.

n the US many people are so caught up into politics that they seem to focus on this more than on God.Some are worried for the future. That is understandable. Many love their country. That is good. But when hope is placed in politics and politicians, rather than the better outcome, it is best to put your ultimate hope in Christ.

All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, who are called according to God’s purposes.

And the prophet said, Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says:
Don’t be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army,
for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”
