“INTIMACY IN GOD’S GRACE”

1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 NRSV

“God is faithful; by him you were called

into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Jesus spirit-filled energy encourages us to go deeper into intimacy with him. Divine intimacy is so intimate, so personal, no words can describe. God’s grace is intimacy in Christ and can only be offered by God’s grace. When God’s true intimacy is spirit-felt so filled with such energy that no one else can really understand the special bond that shared energy is completely personal and deeply penetrates the soul.

Omtomacy with God is to develope a close, growing personal relationship with Christ that results in a stronger desire to know, trust and obey him–and to allow his love to penetrate every need our soul craves. That’s more than just going to church, more than reading the Bible or trying to do good works. In as much as by the power of the Spirit, we are called to serve according to God’s plan. Still, the reality of those times we are confronted, challenged to make sense of the vast injustices, conflicts, oppression and as well as disparity in opinions. Yet in all times, God is faithful!

Emotionalintimacy is the degree to which you are willing amd able to connect with God, it’s more than just saying how you feel: emotional intimacy requires trust and willingness to be open and vulnerable in expressing deeper thoughts, feelings, for your need. We cannot know God intimately by human reason. Spiritual intimacy is God by turning to God in every circumstances or difficulty that requires us to address certian matters of the heart: complete surrender, following Christ Jesus–trusting and walking in obedience to God’s ways, without knowing the outcome; above all, surrendering. revering–knowing the Living God.

Yada is a Hebrew word meaning to know. Yada–to know God is to love God. To love God is to trust God.To trust God is to obey God.To obey God is to be blessed, and to be blessed is to be a blessing. Spiritual intimacy involves an open communication about beliefs, respect for each other’s personal spiritual journeys, and fostering a sense of unity that is God’s purposeful intention. This is divine intimacy at the highest state attainable on earth. In our unity with God and each other, faith leads us to produce acts in God’s plan for which we pray to have an immense influence on a multitude of people to know God. Intimacy starts with worshipping God, studying his Word, spending time with God, serving in Christ’s mission, the better we understand, and our maturity increases immensely through God’s grace. To know God is to be known by God. Amen.
